Our Performer and Instructor Members

The 'Rose is all about promoting handmade, acoustic music, and we love our performers. If you have an upcoming event at which you'd like to have live music, do yourself a favor and consider a Black Rose Performer Member (look for a “P” after their name).

Looking for local music instruction? Many of our performers are also instructors, so look for an “I” next to their name.

Kurt Astor (P)

Kurt plays old time country and western music, a little gospel, and some rowdy music that stays family friendly. If Johnny Cash's baritone and old Hank Williams tunes are what you're looking for, Kurt's your man.
