OPEN MIC

In addition to our Friday concerts at the Black Forest Community Center, the Black Rose is now hosting an Open Mic at some of our local Colorado Springs establishments. This offers new and beginning musicians a chance to perform in front of a smaller audience than they otherwise would as a Friday opening act, and you need not wait 9 months to perform!

We would like to invite our members and the general public to come out and help support and encourage our local performers. Most of our Open Mics are held in the relaxed atmosphere of area brew pubs and restaurants where in addition to hearing the music, you will be able to purchase food and drink, thus helping to support local businesses as well.

OPEN MIC SCHEDULE (2nd/4th Wednesdays)

• Wednesday, May 8: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs

• Wednesday, May 27: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs

• Wednesday, June 12: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs

• Wednesday, June 26: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs

• Wednesday, July 10: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs

• Wednesday, July 24: 6:00-8:40pm (followed by an open jam until 9:00 pm), Buffalo Lodge, 2 El Paso Blvd., Colorado Springs
